Hey everyone,
I thought I’d share this quick video with you by Chris Railey who works with the Center for Holy Lands Studies.
In this video, Chris shares why he thinks so many churches in America are stuck or in a state of plateau or decline. The stats tell us that 8 out of 10 churches in America are in decline. Simply put, they’re stuck and not growing. There’s probably a lot of reasons why but he believes it might boil down to one simple reason, we don’t know who are neighbor is and we’re not willing to get dirty.
As many of you already know, at the beginning of this year, several pastors in New Prague, myself included, started meeting weekly to pray for an awakening in our community. Since then we’ve seen God do some exciting things as we’ve worked together to make an impact in our community. This would include the National Day of Prayer Service and the Community Impact Night in May as well as the Food Drive last month.
All of this has prepared us to participate in the Revive Minnesota Outreach that will happen in New Prague this October.
I want to invite you to join with us as we continue to pray for an awakening in this region. Also, I want to encourage you to be a part of our prayer time on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am.
We’ll be sharing more about the Revive Minnesota event as details are finalized.
