Free Concert Featuring the Harbingers Quartet

Spirit of Life Church will be offering a free concert on Sunday, September 11th @ 6:30 pm featuring the Harbingers Quartet. This is a free concert and it’s open to the public.

Here’s a short bio about the Harbingers:

Three of the four current members of the Harbingers (Har-bin-gers) Quartet began singing together in the late 60’s early 70’s while attending North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  After nearly 40 years the group has been reunited when they all found themselves living in Minnesota once again.  Dan Turner, Jim and John Krans sang on weekends for most of the 4 years in college.  In the summer of 1971 they traveled 12 straight weeks singing in churches and camps around the Midwest.  They’ve added the smooth, rich, deep bass voice of Dick Hall to round out the quartet and are sharing their close harmony and unique musical arrangements with audiences around the country.

Dan has recently retired after pastoring for many years in Prior Lake, Minnesota and Aitkin, Minnesota, Dick has retired after many years in management of a major electrical utility company and is Associate Pastor at Crowne Pointe Church in Richfield, MN, Jim is a painting contractor in Minneapolis, and John is pastor of Crowne Pointe Church in Richfield, MN.  Dan is the arranger, sings baritone and plays the keyboard, Dick sings bass, Jim is the tenor and plays guitar, and John sings lead and plays the bass.  Don’t miss this opportunity to hear some great quartet classics and some worship selections as well.
