Thanks for stopping by our corner of the web! These pages
are designed to help you learn more about our church and help you
decide if Spirit of Life might be the church you have been looking
for.
We believe that the church is not a
building but rather a community of people who have decided to
follow Jesus Christ together. We would love to have you join
us on this journey. If you have any other questions please call our

Our History...
Our church is made up of lots of different
people with a variety of religious backgrounds. What brings us
together is a desire to know Christ and make Him known (John 17:3).
Spirit of Life Church started in the mid 1980's with a group of people who
had a vision for a Pentecostal church in New Prague.
In 1983 the church
held it's first meetings in a living room with a handful of people
who were passionate to see God move by the power of the Holy
Spirit. By 1987 the continued growth of the church led to
meetings being held in the gym of the New Prague Elementary
School. By 1989 God had provided the current property and
facilities where we continue to meet today.
Spirit of Life is
affiliated with the
Assemblies of God Fellowship.
What We Believe...
We believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Creator of heaven and
earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was
conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered
under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell. The third day He arose again from the
dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of
God the Father Almighty, whence He shall come to judge the living
and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy
Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of
sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
